Meditation Benefits:
Meditation has been practiced by many cultures and religions for thousands of years. Meditation can be viewed as a form of prayer or a simple act of stillness that helps you focus the mind and calm emotions. Meditation helps you find your center (a sense of peace) and has a calming, soothing effect for when you are feeling stressed or anxious (physically and emotionally). Just a few minutes of meditation can improve emotional well-being and your overall health. Meditation can help you navigate through your day more calmly and promotes a restful sleep. Meditation is a great way to focus on gratitude and love. When you are in gratitude and love, you not only raise your vibration, but those around you. Taking a warm bath, and applying skin care is a beautiful form of self love and can be viewed as a moment of meditation. This is my favorite way of getting grounded, finding my center, setting positive intentions. saying positive affirmations and just giving myself a little TLC.
